Worst customer service in the world. Gamestop decided to cancel my online order two hours after I bought a Nintendo switch and new Zelda game.

The reason why I want to sell it is that we have an old Wii and it can't read the discs very well. One of the scarce times we are in Game Stop we saw the Nintendo Switch and thought that would be a good upgrade for the Wii it is like dollars! I will never shop there again. Amazon is cheaper and better product. GameStop would not take an Xbox one x within 10 days of purchase for a full refund but offered a trade in at less than half price because the box was opened.

The trade in would be store credit not money. Bought a preowned sunburst special edition ps4 controller and got the warranty on it. God they check their used equipment before reselling it. Pretty much means if you buy a PS4, open it for a second, close it, and try to return it I had back to back arguments with the store managers there and eventually got my bank involved to reverse the charge.

This means if you buy a new console, open it, then decide you don't want it, you cannot return it. I just confirmed this with my local store. Got the game didn't work ps4 pro couldn't read it won't be buying from game stop no more hope I can get my money back. They do great with old console games such as ps3 and xbox but when it comes to next gens there to expensive don't work most of the time and they don't except them if it's even been opened.

This policy is so stupid I got a 60 dollar game and they refused to give me my money back when I went to return it unopened. They only gave me a 18 dollar discount. They make it seem as if you have a 30 day return period , and this is stated when purchase. They should be MORE clear about the fact that the item must not be opened or touched in any way for this to be liable. Since they are the same item essentially, she put everything away immediately, and my sister let me know they don't need it. A brand new system, purchased 3 days, not even fully opened.

Sent in my defective dead battery gameboy color and gameboy advance games for an exchange. They should have received it5 days ago and have not heard anything back email or junk email wise.

Wondering how my games are being processed and exchanged. They now just ignore and its months later. He was not told that when he purchest and no where dose it say that on there receipt. As a parent it frustrats me I try and instill in my boys to do right and I feel gamestop is not standing by there products or return policies. Will post again if not taken care of. On December 29th I downloaded the 6. I took this item back to the store and did get an exchange but upon checking out they informed me that I could purchase another 2 year extended warranty or not because they wouldn't exchange it under the store warranty.

I think this was a huge mistake buying this product at gamestop because this purchase was expensive and only lasted a little over 2 and a half months.

Now as far as the warranty they don't tell you that it's only good for a 1 time exchange and then it's void. This information is not told to you nor printed on the receipt.

Or even posted in the store for that matter. I ordered a Nintendo Switch for my son for Christmas on December 3 using 4 giftcards and paid the remaining amount with my credit card. I refuted those charges because I thought someone had hacked my card number. That same day I received an email cancelling the insurance I had purchased. I also received an email indicating my package was being shipped. I received shipping information and everything. On the day I was supposed to receive my package Gamestop contacted the shipping company and requested the package back.

When I saw the status change on the UPS website I immediately called the number provided for Gamestop and waited a looooooong time to get a live person on the phone.
